Morning All, free exercise and education were the byproducts of yesterdays task. Exercise from walking along Chesil beach, composed of millions of small round pebbles meaning you walk with a ‘three forward, one back’ efficiency as you move around. Education was both field and office based, firstly using the Fuji XT-4 for movie capture, this time bare, next step will be to link it with the Atomos Ninja, but one step at a time! Then it was back to the office and getting to grips with DaVinci Resolve to polish and output the clips requested.

    • Was this to do with the Little Terns or just Chesil in general?

      • Chesil in general, primarily some ‘B roll’ clips. This year the Little Terms were about three weeks early and the colony is pretty empty(, and a local kestrel is very well fed, ignoring the diversionary feeding programme and predating chicks

    • Looks good. We’ve a week there at the end of October in a cottage looking out over the beach.

      • It is a wonderful ‘spot’ all 18 miles of it. Whereabouts will you be based? One of only three such formations in the UK, a SSSI and part of the Jurassic coast UNESCO world heritage site. For a bit of local flavour read ‘Moonfleet’ it is set in the area… Moonfleet Manor is nearby set just behind the ‘Fleet’ the enclosed area of brackish water ( a natural fish nursery)
