Boggle Hole

Having done 3 days straight on the cliffs at Bempton we decided to take a break from the birdies and take in what else the area has to offer.

First on the list for the day was Boggle Hole, which is just around the cliff from Robin Hood Bay – you can walk between the 2 when the tide is out.

The beach is accessed down a lane which doesn’t allow cars, but there is a small car park which only asks for donations.  There is a YHA place at the beach and a nice cafe.  Well that’s enough words, what does it look like…

Shore Line, used the in camera ND filter to smooth out the ripples in the pool but didn’t slow it so the sea was smooth as well

Process the above shot today, the rest when I was clearly in a BW mood!

The clouds came in after a while and the morning’s weather was breezey enough for them to keep changing – no blurry clouds though as these were all hand held
Definitely in a detail mood
just floating about
The rougher with the smoother
A complete, tethered seaweed (see Mr P for correct ID), but again although I did take a full shot the details got me!
Time to leave before I swap to the macro lens and we’re here for hours……

Well there’s a first little blog for you to enjoy (I hope) of a little trip to Boggle Hole
