Lightroom: Creating a Panoramic image

We’ve been impressed with the latest upgrade to Lightroom 6. While there are a number of new features, the two that have really caught the eye are the ability to create both panoramic and HDR images without having to take the images into any other software, writes Andrew James.

Once the pano image has been formed from the selected frames, Lightroom creates a DNG file. A DNG is Adobe’s own raw file and this means we can then easily fine-tune the DNG file with our normal processing workflow. It really is quick and intuitive if you are already a regular Lightroom user and even if you are not, it won’t take long to get the hang of it.
