• I was asked by a D&T Camera Club member about creating a subtle pastel effect on images. It gave me a chance to look at gradient mapping which I’ve never really understood before. I went through all the colour grading tools before finding out how to use the gradient map on Photoshop.

  • I think I’d better make my photo project of the day ‘Grey’. Though add the ‘cold’ in and I don’t think I will be venturing far. As a nesh southerner, I only come out in sunshine and warmth!

  • Not wishing to rub it in…. lovely sunny day today with just the occasional cloud to make the sky interesting. This is Cofton church. At this time of year I like monochrome which enables me to alter the tonal balance in Lightroom.
