Photoshop: Using the Content Aware Tools

Discover an easy way to recompose and reformat your images using the Content Aware commands, writes Jon Adams. You’ll know by now that there are often countless ways of achieving the same result in Photoshop, and what distinguishes the good methods from the bad is the quality of results and the time it takes to get there. The Content Aware tools are relatively recent additions to Photoshop’s arsenal, and they’re well worth getting acquainted with. They are heavily automated in the way they work, so don’t offer any real control when it comes to fine-tuning. But on the plus side, they also don’t require any real commitment in terms of user skill, so the learning curve is nice and shallow.
