While the weather is positively tropical this week, just last week parts of the UK were blanketed in snow, writes Andrew James. This gave me the chance to keep a watchful eye out for an image I’ve wanted to get for a few years now but without success – a snowdrop seeming to grow out of the snow itself. Finally, the chance arrived and this tutorial talks about the decisions made in the shooting process, as well as how the image was edited in Lightroom and Photoshop. It’s not impossible that we’ll get more snow before the end of April so keep those eyes peeled…

Almost a carbon copy of what I did with curlew in the snow. Clone and spot removal are much better in PS ! Thanks AJ and congrats on the house
